Elba Reef

Overview

Be ready to explore the area that has been untouched and have never seen mass diving tourism before.

Description

On the border between Sudan and Egypt there are three reefs that we call the Elba region. The Elba Reef has very beautiful plateaus on its north and south sides. It is a triangular reef, the plateau in the north is long and starts at about 20 m and ends at about 45 m depth. Perched on the edge of a deep chasm on the southern plateau, one of the main attractions is the large wreck of the SS Isola di Levanzo, which sank in the early 20th century. The entire top or stern area can be dived. You can see some large gray reef sharks and even hammerheads.
